As for pandora or other media plugin interfaces it's difficult to say..........these items are driven by demand from users and customers. Much consideration is needed because their is no API or defined guidlines for 3rd party developers to use that stays consistant. If you have to create a method of working on a plugin or link between theses online services that requires constant attention or changes to the code then it's difficult to provide a reliable and dependable interface for users to interface with.
