Open an album from a random track

When playing my music category in random I would like to be able to switch to album play of the current playing track. I can get the album by using custom search and value from variable set

EDIT -was testing this with text, have now come across the variable in custom search problem!

I now want to auto play it without having to click the category display.
Can this be done?

Also I have tried using 2 custom searches in an event, artist & album name, to account for same album name by different artists. It only seems to carry out 1 search, the first in the event. can this be overcome? - seem to have this working - artist then album order appears to do it.

If I understand it correctly, you have all your music randomly playing in the playlist, you would then have a button that would take the nowplaying song, clear and add the rest of its album to the playlist?

are you wanting to add album or album add toggle?

You are running into trouble because some albums have the same name?

Yes, clear the playlist and play the album (albumplay is already toggled on the random screen). My initial problem was that I was doing a custom search in the wrong order eg

If the albumname is searched 1st, both albums are found , but a further search by artist didn't work. Search by artist and then albumname does work.

However this was tested using text entered values in the event manager. Seems the problem is getting the custom search event to work using a value from the save to variable event for audioplayer>now>%artist% and audioplayer>now>%albumname%
