Adding a touchscreen, have questions

Speak your mind

Here is it finished (I think). Painted it looks kind of girly but I think it looks ok. Hey my wife let me cut a hole in her wall and add a TS, the least I could do is let her pick the moulding

Very sweet.

You know, as I look at your installation, ir reminds me of a question I've been asking about my own setup..... what to display on it when it's "idle".

I think I'll start another thread on that topic and stir up some ideas.

Well my TS is officially hosed :(

I now have pink dots/hue all over the screen. I have tried different cables and computers with no success. I have to contact the seller in Hong Kong  to get a warranty repair.

It's a sad day!!!!

Nice work! I hope you get your TS fixed!

Here is a photo of my Stylistic flush mounted in the wall with oak framing to match my kitchen cabinets

I find these to be the easiest to install. No running VGA or USB, just run the thin client on these things through wifi and walla.

I have mine wired in direct to power coming right behind it. I have easy access in the back through my bathroom medicine cabinet. I just unscrew my cabinet, unhinge it back and have quick access to the tablet.

I run a simple one page flash projector file for my interface that i designed which allows me access to Xlobby, Homeseer, My Voice mail system, and surveillance system

Here is a still of my flash interface
