Saw this on another site today. I haven't used the web interface yet but a 800x480 format sounds good to me.

I like the 11g wireless support and all, but £245.00 / $425.00 for a phone sized (Dimensions: 141 x 79 x 19 mm) touchscreen?
I don't think so...

Well it is a little costly, but it looks like it would do a top job. I have a 12" LCD which I think is a bit big and I have 2 PDAs which I think are a bit small. This would be very nice.

That's sort of what I thought and, while £245 isn't really cheap, it's about the same price point as a decent wireless ppc. (Granted doesn't do as much else as a ppc but I've 2Dell Axim X30s that are only used for XL and occasionally internet browsing. This device could do both and the browsing better.)

One drawback may be that it doesn't seem to have a cradle facility. I quite like having ppcs in a cradle that can be used in-situ or picked up as needed.

Wouldn't THIS work? :D

More seriously though... I just got a PPC to use pretty much exclusively with Xlobby. Do you do anything special to make it easier to launch on the PPC? Is there any way to keep from having to relaunch after waking it back up? Can you set up the PPC to work with multiple Xlobby servers? Sorry for hijacking, I just have not found much on PPC.

I believe that is a wifi card issue, not a software issue.

It is a wifi card issue, my x5's with cheapo cards resume fine but my hp4150 carshes xlobby after sleeping, very frustrating.

Yeah, my Axim X30s both crash on resume after a poweroff. This is why I keep them sat in a powercradle. Screen turns off but the power (and wifi) doesn't - so no crash.

Curiously, I just got a newer wireless AP and XL doesn'talways crash now. Just sometimes. Still a bit of a moot point as 'sometimes' is still not good enough. This does seem to indicate that its more than just the ppc / card itself; the other end (AP) clearly has a part to play too.
