Playlist ends problem

Postby steele on Tue Apr 19, 2005 8:39 pm

When I reach the end of the playlist the music stops, but if then try to select a new track to the playlist, this gets added to the playlist but does not start to play, I have to select next track in the playlist to get it going, or before adding it clear the list and start again. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Should say using a pocket pc for control and never a pc.

Thanks

Maybe you can change the overlay so the "add to playlist" button both adds it to the playlist and plays. That would involve changing the event which that button uses, or making a new event with both the "play" (or "next track") command and the "add to playlist" command. It seems like it may be somewhat flaky though due to if there is nothing on the playlist and it says "add track to playlist" and then "next" it may (or may not) skip what you added to the playlist. At the same rate, if you have something in the playlist and it stops at the end and you say "add track to playlist" and then "play", it may verywell play the track that it just played.
I think it'd be worth toying around with that as it seems like it'd be an easy fix.
Hope somethin works :)

Hoping there was a setting or plugin for Winamp. Does Foobar have this problem? Will let you know what I can find out , as this is real shame about this little quirk.

I suppose there's a way around it - but this is clearly a bug - since it started only a couple of months ago :-)

Yeah this issue isn't confined to winamp. I don't personally think it's a problem.
