This is the plugin i used!
But the manual is not so wery detailed :(

XLTV :A TV Plugin for Xlobby
by Badubo, French Xlobby Team
Preliminary documentation
Installation
1. Copy ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll to the xlobby directory
2. Copy the directory xltv in the xlobby\plugins directory
3. Copy xltv.xml in the event groups directory
For using XLTVConfig.exe, you have to copy XPluginSDK in the same directory

This plugin is still in the very early stages. You will have to configure your own skin, or modify a skin to get it to work.... but there is a demo skin that came along with it. If you installed it as the documentation says, you can switch your skin to "xltv" so that you can at least test it out. As far as integrating it with your own skin, you'll either have to skin it yourself, or wait 'till one of the brilliant minds puts it in a skin.
Again, from what I understand it's a pretty new plugin so that's why there might not be a whole lot of talk about it now. I tried ti out, and it worked pretty well, but unfortunately ProgDVB can't run smoothly on my system. I'll be trying dvddream, but that also doesn't run so well on my rig. I wish they'll support RitzDVD in the future.

In this thread: http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2861
The thread is about xMpc, but in the middle, badubo gives the link to xltv (maybe that's why it's not so popular yet, people don't know :D )

Sorry for that it is the really first version.
Did you configure all tabs of the setup?
I suggest you to configure the plugin from outside xlobby (XLTVConfig), not from the setup, it's saffer.

As m_masta told you, there is no build in visual integration, simply because it is not possible with xlobby to make relations between plugins and skin theme.

If you created a favorites list, and start the xltv skin, you can see all features and learn how to adapt your skin.

Note that I 'm working on a new integration of progdvb, with faster response and more adapted to xlobby

Virtually, xltv can support any application, it uses internal plugins (controlling applications) as tuners with an API. Typically, if you can fully control it from messages, command line or keyboard (we need channels, window mode, fullscreen, record, mute and vol controls), we can integrate it
Once I have a stable version for analogic and dvb cards, I will release the documentation for the internal SDK.

not yet.
The problem is that I haven't pvr card for developping.
I have a PCTV rave (Ok I know  ) and I think there are very few programs working with both type of cards. GotTV was one.
Do you know which software should be integrated?

In fact, it's in beta test in the french forum. We are waiting to have a fully integrated skin to release it in the Official Forum

Just to add to badubo's post :
- progDvb works only with DVB cards
- K!Tv (wich is also supported by this plug-in) does not work with hardware MPEG encoded video stream cards such as PVR series but works with most of the others analog cards (bt8x8 or WDM drivers)...

I don't know wich software, except the one bundled with the card, works with PVR series... ChrisTv does but it's Shareware (the Freeware version cannot record and does not support hardware encoded video streams cards)...

And I've got a very bad opinion about ChrisTv and its policies...

If you know a software wich can be used with these cards and know how to control it... ;)

but it's in french ! see the screenshots ... Perhaps you will understand ...
It's for progdvb 's users (i don't explain the plugin with K!TV)

The problem is that mediaportal is another front end. I don't think it is a good idea to propose it as the TV plugin of xlobby :?

I think this plugin is just a great first step to integrate the most important in a mediacenter like Xlobby. Just keep going on with the exelent work. My self is not good at programming, etc. So i test instead.

MediaPortal is another solution but still lot's of problem and bugs. Sometime it's better to use ready made programs and integrate them :)
