I got all the zone issues worked out with the RS232 switcher

i just ran accross this issue

now the web tablet ( Sahara I1213 ) will not execute the girder events on the server the tablet is running the Same skin actually same XLobby root folder copied on to the table as the one in the server i only changed the layout to fit the smaller screen size not running girder

its connecting ( fat client) do I need to add some extra configuration for girder so it will accept events triggered from another client?

or do I have to do the xlobby client EXE ? I dont use because its really slow even in 108Mbps WIFI but any tips or suggestions will be heard with appreciation!!!

does girder accept Network Events if so how do I go about configuring them
I thought thats what XNET did ( any event triggered in a client it would send to the server )

Thank you in advance

d0ubled0wn, can you clarify something? Are you using the Xlobby web client or the fat client?
You can't use the fat client to send commands to the server unless you are using the ievent command through girder. To read about sending Girder commands over a LAN check out this entire thread: http://www.promixis.com/phpBB2/viewtopi ... ght=ievent
Good luck!

The IR remote commands will only work on the server PC with the thin client or browser client. With the fat client, only the music is linked to the server. Using "ievent" from Girder, you can send commands over a network. I personally have not tried "ievent" (outside of when I used MainLobby 3 years ago) so I can't give you any tips. Good luck with the instructions at the Girder site and let us know if it works.
