sort of like a trailer before the main movie.

Why not make your own FOX styled theater trailer.



CLICK to download a finished sample movie. (Porly rendered, could be alot better...)

Here is a short reminder on how to make them (more on the avs-forum);

Download blender http://www.blender.org completely free
CLICK to download the FOX file for blend
Open the FOX_Logo.blend file with blender
Type your own text
(RIGHT CLICKING selects objects.TAB goes in and out of edit mode. Scale by draging red or green dot.)
Set your format (i use avi codec)
Set your size, from PAL to FULL HD
Animate
WAIT...WAIT...WAIT...Done!

Again, you have brought yet another new "Coolness" factor to within the Xlobby relm. Now there is another piece of software I must play with and learn and now thrown into the loop of all my other projects , that just one day....I may actually come close to completing . Yeah, thanks , thanks alot

wow it took over 9 hours to compile a 22meg video.
i added a THX video at the end of my bb productions.

i couldn't have asked for a better program.
and the best part is it's free.

when i get a chance, i'll throw a link up of the finished product.

ok now for the fun part.

How in V3 can you add a trailer, i think it was left out of the new version and is on the ta-do list but i forget, and searching around the forums i couldn't find anything. So does anyone know how to add the trailers on V3.

wow it takes me on the average 9-12 hours to compile this thing, so i do it over night.
i use the AVI codec, maybe that has something to do with it. but that's ok, the end result is worth the wait.
i'm looking for other files to blend. like PIXAR or others.

i already have the idea, at the end of my trailer, there is a blank box after the THX animation, where there is the thx url inside the box, that spot is a great place to put the -bb inside logo !!!!!!

It was made entirely in blender. Pretty funny, and very well done. I'm far from ever being able to achieve something like that....I'll just stick with the Fox logo for a while
