correct me if Im wrong, but TT cant auto play on instert. (configured in TT) Or you could set it up to in windows. You will need to set up an event to execute a drive letter, or category execute with the commandline parameters in file types.

i am a big fan of TT...

one of the things i like about TT is that it "all works of he box"

TT will start up automatically if needed (i dont use it tho)

and for me dts just works out of the box... i am using spdif if that helps

I was looking into the TT ip-control interface with a plan to integrating it more closely with xlobby (andrew said he wa added a option to startup at a specific position with no border wich would be useful). I have suspended it untill xlobby setles out...

TT uses the Nvidia codec by default right? I'm pretty sure PureVideo only does DTS through spdif, so if your not running spdif that may be your problem.

I'm not a TT user though, so if I'm wrong please ignore me...

good luck,

i installed zoom player last night and it plays dts just fine, i suppse there something wrong with TT. i know that their forums are no help what so ever. im new to the head end side of things though. before i was just using the htpc and TT to play dvd's , but i want to try using xlobby as a user interface. can any of you guy post screen shots showing set up of various things like how to launch my player when a disk is incerted? i dont have enough hard drive to store my 400+ red book dvd's. but i think that i will put some of my favorite on hd...i'll probably need help with that also! thanks for all the help, i'm going upstairs to "fiddle" with it now!

I'm assuming your talking about Xlobby. If so, then you have to define the location of either Winamp or Foobar under the Setup/General tab. There's a window there that indicates Winamp/Foobar Zone (going on memory right now). Browse to the location of your preferred music player and add the main executable.

Finally close setup and restart Xlobby so it will then recongnize the player. You should be set to play your mp3 files then.

If your talking about some other method of playing your mp3 files, disregard the above and define what your trying to do more please.

ok, i've printed a set of instructions setting things up using the kiss skin...mp3's work now and i see a prompt to load offline dvd when i click on dvd in database(dont have movies ripped to hd yet) all seems well, untill xlobby started crashing when i clicked a movie not on hd. alsowhile watching a movie in TT, if i fastforward the xlobby screen is dispplayed on top of video...very odd.
