Starting web server / client in specific resolution

Postby Chazotta on Wed Jan 10, 2007 10:53 am

Is it possible to start the web client in a specific resolution without having to dial up the setup (ie: http://192.168.x.x/setup) ? Every time I close and relaunch xlobby or reboot the server etc, I have to enter the resolution in the setup screen which is rather tedious. Surely there is a way to overcome this ? perhaps a few more parameters specifying the desired resolution after the IP address ?

Or perhaps according to Steven's post on the whole topic of giving us the web access is that he gave us 640x480 native resolution and only gave us the abilities for higher resolutions via the setup screen, and until now, it was a good enough solution for everyone.

You could try and put in a feature request, though now-a-days, it would appear that Steven is right into Xlobby3 and doing his own thing, and putting Xlobby2 on the side burner.
