Help with audioplayer>volume variables

Postby auphan on Fri Jun 16, 2006 2:54 am

Thanks to Steven for the great program and to all the other people who have written plugins and made skins available. I have a question about my multizone page. Is it possible to display the current volume of each zone at the same time.(i use winamp) Example - Whole House -100%, Kitchen 75%, Deck 85%. Curently I can only get the volume of whatever zone is in focus to display. I have tried everything I can think of and need a little help. Any help that you can give with this problem would be appreciated.

I dont know about XLobby... but i have written a program which allows controlling of sliders in kX project drivers DSP... sooner or later i will turn it to XLobby plugin. So this can solve your problem if your soundcard is SB live or audigy series and u use driver by kX project.

I've played around extensively with zoning in xlobby. Currently I don't beleive that function is available. You should put a request in, and maybe Steven one day may incorporate that.

P3rv, I'll be looking forward to that plugin. I a SB Live5.1 with the KXDrivers, so I'm very interested.

Thanks for the responses. I guess this is not something that xlobby can do at this time. I currently do not use the kx drivers but I could start using them(i have a couple of audigy cards) instead of the multiple soundcards if it would fix the problem. I will put in a request for this because I think this would be a benefit for anyone running multizone.

I too would be very interested in this as I have been attempting to do just this with no success.
