I think think that if youre trying to do a remote friendly nav scheme, simple stacked colums and rows work best. the 3 round over 2 isnt the best soultion for navigation really. North south east and west navigation will work smoother,

I think a good approach is to keep navigation and control seperated. With an easy maneuver between the two.

Thats my $.02

Hey all, glad to see this is progressing. FYI since I have seen it come up a few times, SageMC 169 has had Comskip for some time now.

After using his sage STV, I can only imagine what will happen when he really gets going with XLobby.

Hey guys! Here's the latest shots. I got quite a bit done while traveling for work last week.

any chance of hooking me up as a writer/skinner Steven so I can post this sometime in the next week. Just want to clean up a couple bugs and then start beta testing.

Those shots look good!!!

So your "My TV" button launches Sage with SageMC onto the My TV menu. All others are Xlobby? Do you have a reliable way to "back" to the Xlobby menu from Sage?

every single one of the above screens is in xlobby, and they work pretty flawlessly to in my initial tests

haven't actually run it on my sage box yet, but that is exactly the idea. i think loading sage to the 'my tv' screen should be cake but i think to get back to xlobby you have to back all the way out to the main menu in sage and then push the little power button to sleep it, when you do that xlobby becomes the visible application (from what i've heard at least)

I think you will need to disable the sage screensaver on sleep (option in settings) You could also learn your "menu" buttpm to the sage "sleep" command. One of the briliant sage guys may even be able to get back to work seemlessly, goes back on screen unless you are on the "My TV" page, then sleep sage.

It would be nice if you can implement the SageTV navigation:

- left goes to previous menu level (if there is nothing on the left of the item)
- right goes to submenu (if there's nothing on the right of the item)

I really like the navigation in sagetv with 4 buttons only.
