I've noticed that the touchscreen are typcially:

640x480
800x600
1024x768

I have seen a couple that are 16x9 aspect ratio like:

800x480

Fixed List

-Make buttons on left hand side match Sage sizewize better
-Migrate from XWeather to XoapWeather
-Music Stop on Movie/TV Play
-Radio Page Up/Down
-Go through XRemote carefully and make sure fully utilized

How about a spider on the movie and music page. Whenever I add new files, I have to switch skins to use a spider.

epg issue with xlobbymc

Postby bigtall on Wed Oct 26, 2005 3:41 am

This may be something that is wrong with my setup, but just wondering if you can add an epg to a screen in xlobbymc. Everytime that I do it I get an error unhandled exception, which makes the screen change to the one with the big red x on it. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I have tried this on other skins and it seems to work fine.

By the way, excellent skin Naylia!!

have you tried doing it in another skin also...then maybe we can narrow it down to a skin issue or a setup of xlobby issue

I'd like to see 1024x768. My HTPC is driving two monitors, the TV and a 17" LCD which always displays Sage/XLobby. Thanks for your great work.

I have tried it in a couple other skins and they seem to work fine when I add the epg. Can somebody else try it in this skin, just create a new screen and add an xmltv epg.

Thanks,

Jason

My bad. I figured out what was wrong. I needed to have some images in the buttons folder. In case anyone else comes across this, you need to have the xepg images in your buttons folder.

yep, you need these buttons

xepg-channel.png
xepg-corner.png
xepg-left-arrow.png
xepg-program.png
xepg-program-playing.png
xepg-program-selected.png
xepg-right-arrow.png

if you don't have these buttons, you will get a red cross

Naylia,

Thanks for the reply in my other post, I'll check that out when I have the time. I know I'm really new to this program, so forgive me if I'm asking/requesting something that I should be able to implement or setup with the current version of the skin. First off, I really like the skin-- looks great, but I'm still trying to get things working correctly. Also haven't got it interfaced with Sage yet--- another night after music and DVD are working.

I was testing out music playing using your skin, and also the KISS skin. The KISS skin has a feature to search for specific cd, artists, songs, genres, etc. This is useful when you have tons of music from many different places, and don't want to scroll through 100's of cds of other types of music to find what you want. If this feature exists, can you tell me where?

I'm not used to cataloging my music like this but my roommate really likes the way iTunes handles music organization-- I can't speak for how it works, I've never used it.

Thanks, and I'll be posting here again in a few days with more questions about configuring Sage and the like.

Yeah, I'm working on the search capabilities and playlist management parts. I think I've got most of the playlist stuff working well, so search is next. There should be a new release sometime in the next couple weeks. Taking a break from it for the weekend to rebuild my htpc, but hopefully will have it done soon. There's a list of things i'm working back on page 10 i think.

I'm going to be getting a Pocket PC very soon. Just wondering if your Pocket PC screens are Portrait or landscape.

Do you have any screen shots of them, or is there a way to look at them via Xlobby? Duh, I'm sure there is as you have to be able to edit them.

they are portrait, since it seems a more natural way to hold a pocketpc

goto My Settings and then Pocket PC Screens to get a look at them
