Strange IR problem

I am using Baddabing's Heavy Metal TS skin and the usbuirt, when I learn the code from my remote then test the transmit code it works fine. The IR code is for the scroll down button on my Bev. 9200 Sat. receiver. Once I assign the event to a buuton in the skin it scrolls right insteadd of down. Have I missed a step has anyone esle seen this problem?

Make sure that the navigation is setup correctly within the skin. If you are navigating within a category, make sure it is setup correctly there as well.

Marbles, I checked out your suggestions , I was not sure what the navigation folder was for, but I added the IR event to the scroll down button. I assigned the scroll down button in the skin editor.....did a test it worked great. Closed up everything tried it in the guide worked fine. When I tried it in the pvr section to scroll down it did not work. I really am stumped as to what I am doing wrong.

What you're going to want to do is check the navigation of all pages of the skin. It can be a pain, but sometimes certain navigation is restricted on the skin. The skinning guide can help with the that.

But I am on the same skin screen, only thing that changes is my screen on the TV when I go from guide to PVR mode. I have my guide and pvr button on the same skin panel.

Sorry, just trying to understand what your are meaning. You are on the same screen, but it changes on your TV? Are you opening an overlay? Are you loosing control in the overlay? The only way to get to overlays to edit is throught the skin editor/goto tab.

If your have to modify a category, then that can be done under the skin editor/catagory tab. There you can define direction to either up/down, or left/right.

If you can, try and setup some screen captures so we can visually see what you are trying to do.

Thanks I will try that when I get home from work, sorry I am use to using pronto edit where there is not alot of different types of screens.

But I love this concept allot better, once I understand how it works.
