The Nebula software multicasts its output over the network. I'm not sure if this can be viewed by an application other than the Nebula software. I suppose VLC (
http://www.videolan.org) would be most likely to work. If another application is able to view the streams, then the xAP interface for the Nebula software would be a good way to control the software.
The way I envisage it is with a central server running the Nebula software, and sharing out media/databases. Clients (running Xlobby) then use the databases and media from the server, and connect to the stream when live TV is wanted. OK, so you only get one TV channel over the network (or rather, one multiplex) at a time, but it's good enough for me (and probably others too). I suppose there's also the option of a second Nebula too.
Cheers,
Andy
