I guess it's time again to ask for Source Code????

Speak your mind

Just felt the need to throw my 2 cents in. I for one would enjoy the opportunity to dig in to the source as a reason to transition from VB6 to .NET. I'm still able to do everything I *need* to do in VB6. Something cool like customizing Xlobby for my needs would be a great excuse to 'upgrade' my programming skills.

On the other side, I can appreciate why Steven would be hesitant to release the code. It's like giving up a child.

It's obviously meeting the needs of many users. End of the day, Xlobby is what it is; a very cool example of what can be done.

y2kdeuce, i would still download the freebie version of c# from the microsoft website and have a play with it

you can add some nice effects via a plugin... i use one to manage my music screen transitions (if i go from the playlits to the album scr it will show the details for the track i was looking at, likewise if i got from album view to artist view it makes shows the same details)

If you like vb you could try the vb version, but c# is quite well thought out and its alot easier to pick up that c++

Converting some of your exitsing vb progs to c# plugins is not a bad way to start :)
