lar282, Do you still have screenshots of TV Episode db?

Postby joeb on Mon Aug 08, 2005 5:15 pm

Your link in the thread here has expired or you have exceeded your bandwidth limit (I can't read swedish?...)

Do you still have screenshots/instructions on how to accomplish this? I have tried all weekend, but have hit many roadblocks (most of them being structuring the db and importing/refreshing with the right metamasks).

Many thanks![/url]

dont have em anymore, but I can explain.

put the videos in folder like this

Lost TV Serie season 01\Lost S01E01
Lost TV Serie season 01\Lost S01E02
and so on. in every folder just put the mgp in that folder.
My first one is called
lost.101.hdtv-lol.avi (the period was important back then.dont know now)

in the import I have it like this:
Extensions: mpg,avi,mpeg,mov,bin,iso,img,wmv,dvr-ms,ms-dvr
Import type:Movie

Meta Mask:
\\(?<name>.*)\..*
\\(?<name>.*?)\\.*?
\\(?<name>.*)

I hope this is what u want?

Thanks for the reply.

I was hoping for the screenshot to see how you structured your screens. I'm using VIDEO_TS.IFO and .VOB files for my episodes, and these need a separate sub-folder, because they're generically named.

I wanted it to behave like the original poster in the earlier thread (just like the music and musicviewer screens), where I click on an icon for the Series/Season, and it takes me to a detail screen with a straight list of episodes. I got it mostly working, but for some reason, the series/season screen tries to drill-down to the episode sub-folder instead of taking me to the detail screen, even though my db and category setup are identical to the music db and categories.

Also, whenever I do a "movie" type db import, it capitalizes all the folder names, which is extremely annoying (all the other "types" of imports don't do this)
