Did you refresh your images when you created your database update in DVDpro? If you hit refresh all images in DVDpro it should rebuild your image database.

Yes. I added another movie to dvd profiler last night and it is also showing as a blank cover in xlobby. The picture is there in dvd profiler, but when I refresh the movie db (both from the movie screen and from the setup screen) it continues to show them as empty covers.

Went so far as to even delete the movie database file from my xlobby/databases folder. Exported from dvd pro again went back into xlobby's setup menue and reinstalled the database. The movies I have added in the last couple weeks just won't show the image, but the descriptions are there.

When you go to the Database Editor for the movies database, what path does it show in Coverart?
Better yet, can you show the first part of your movies.xml found in the Xlobby\database folder? See my sample below:

<plot>2001: A Space Odyssey is a countdown to tomorrow, a road map to human destiny, a quest for the infinite. It is a dazzling, Academy Award-winning visual achievement, a compelling drama of man vs. machine, a stunning meld of music and motion. It may be the masterwork of director Stanley Kubrick (who co-wrote the screenplay with Arthur C. Clarke)...and it will likely excite, inspire and enthrall for generations.
To begin his voyage into the future, Kubrick visits our prehistoric ape-ancestry past, then leaps millennia (via one of the most mind-blowing jump cuts ever conceived) into colonized space, and ultimately whisks astronaut Bowman (Keir Dullea) into uncharted realms of space, perhaps even into immortality."Open the pod bay doors, HAL." Let the awe and mystery of a journey unlike any other begin.</plot>

I am still having problems with my dvdpro db and shoutcast xml imports, is anyone still having the same problem with the lastest exe? When I do a refresh in XL from my xml nothing happens, I have to delete the original db then recreate from scratch.

I don't use shoutcast, but my DVDPro imports are working just fine, and I'm on the latest update. I've added several to my database in DVDPro, used DVDShrink to extract the movie to an ISO file, making sure the names were the same, etc etc, Refresh the database in xLobby and all comes over as it should.

I am using dvdpro db with an offline dvd megachanger...I don't think that should make any difference with the refresh though, right???

I haven't been able to import my dvd profiler database.I followed the steps but no success. When I click on import a screen pops up but just sits there.I waited 10 minutes.
What else can I do?
Thanks

Try to delete your original movies.xml that is in the XL folder. Reimport and you should be able to see everything. Make sure you are in fact pointing to your collection.xml for the import.

Currently, as I add movies, I re-export my DVDProfiler info to the XML file, then just refresh the movies database in XLobby, either with the refresh event built into the skin I'm using or via F2/Databases, highlighting MOVIES and clicking refresh. The only time I've had a problem with this is when the movie name in profiler didn't exactly match the directory/iso filename on my drive, such as profiler listing a sub-title I didn't have in my directory name. Works great so far. I've got close to 100 movies input so far. and about that many to go hehehe.

The only thing I wish profiler would do is allow the export to be filtered to only include certain movies/dvds. Currently the only way I could include my TV Series in profilers and NOT export them is to list them as not owned but wished for, etc. It would be nice if that program would export by the flags. Oh well, no big deal :)

The last attempt I made last week worked. I uninstalled XL; deleted my dvdProfiler-generated xml file; recreated the xml file and reinstalled XL.

It finally updated all of my coverart.

Tonight I went to add four new movies to dvdProfiler. I then updated the xml file and went into XL. I clicked on the refresh button (movies screen, default skin). It popped up the next window, but the window did not appear to do anything like it has when it did work. So I went into the setup menu and clicked the refresh button from within. Still nothing apparent action in the popup.

So I went back to movies screen and no changes. I've uninstalled XL, deleted xml files and db files and recreated...all several times. I don't know what I finally did, but I did get it to once again load (though now clicking on refresh doesn't show any action again). The movies screen now lists all the movies, but I am once again at a blank coverart screen for movies that I've added to dvdPro over the last month even though the covers appear in dvdPro.

Here is the first few lines up through the end of the first movie in my movies db file in the XL folder.
