Xlobby crashes if I try to add Enter Event to a Screen

Anytime I try to add an Enter Event to a screen itself, not an overlay, Xlobby crashes with an "Unhandled Exception" error.

Am I doing something wrong by: On any screen, entering the Editor, go to Events, and select an Enter Event??

I am not choosing any particular item, because I want the event to happen when I enter the screen itself (i.e. what I am trying to do is turn on Repeat upon entry to the music screen).

Try to dl newest .exe

If that doesnt help... u could check that your event files are valid xml...

I have tried the August 2nd and 4th builds as well as the simplicity release.

This error occurs on two PCs with two different skins....there has to be something I'm missing

Yes sorry anyway, that was false diagnose... i read your question too fast and misinterpreted it.
Thought u had problems to entering event screen on setup

FWIW, I just checked and I get the same crash, but in any case the Enter Event is not the way to go about what you are trying to do. See this thread (just adapt it to repeat).

(Basically, you need to find your startup event group in F2 > Events > Skin and add a "Music > Repeat" to it. Of course, should you want to ever turn off repeat, you will need to add a toggle button to the page. This thread should help you with that.)

Just a little follow-up... also check out Colby's skins. Pretty sure his music page has a repeat toggle, at least I know BluezSkin does...

yes it crashed when nothing is selected(I just fixed it, but need to make it more robust I guess to prevent this sort of this), but what you want to do is this

open skin editor
click "screen"
click "edit"
then at the bottom you will see the "enter" "exit" events for a screen.
