Playing DVD using Media Player Classic

What event changes do I need to make in order to use Media Player Classic for playback of DVDs instead of the internal media player?

I've been using MPC to play stored movies for the hard drives, but want to also use it to play a DVD directly. When I put a DVD in the drive on the computer I get a popup that gives choices of copy / play / cancel. If I choose play it plays using windows media player. Is there an event or setting in xlobby that would allow the play function to use MPC instead?
