Music Importing methods

I know this has been asked before but just trying see how this could be done.

I have my music in folders like: Artist/album/trackname.mp3

I would love to be able to show a list of artists (which it does) and then be able to view ALL songs from that artist without having to go thru each album.

Some people may like the option of selecting each album but for the purposes of my wife using it I wish it could be simpler. She uses an Ipod and is able to select an artist and see all the albums listed and pick an individual one if she wants but the most used is the "All Albums" (I think that is what it is called). This will show a list of all the songs by this Artist reguardless of the album.


Is this possible or something like it.

Well I dont really care what the album was (sorry purists) so I just keep all the tracks from any artist under a single directory named for the artist.

Selecting the artist loads all the tracks and I can pick individual tracks from there anyway.

Not the ideal solution but high WAF since she does not care about album names anyway.

Some albums MUST be played as a whole (Dark Side of the Moon) so I just store them whole in another upper directory and create a seperate d/b against that directory. Not perfect but works fine. Only have a few like that.
