MPC with Quicktime Alternative is probably best for playing the HTTP based trailers. ZP is funky on the http side, but if you do want to use ZP try configuring it to use the QT active x component setting in ZP, see if that helps. (I have not tried it in quite awhile...)

I'll check tonight on the script, I know it was working on Saturday...

EDIT: I did check the movietickets.com site real quick and noticed that they seem to be having an issue with theaters, at least in my zip. While they have all the typical theaters listed only a few have movies/showtimes listed (AMC and few independents), all the other theaters (Cinemark, Edwards, and a bunch of independents) show:
Sorry, showtimes are not available for this theater on
Monday, September 24, 2007. Please try a different date or entering a new location.
Of course, that's kind of funny since today is Tuesday...I went ahead and submitted an error report to customer service. Looks like something is jacked up in their code or their backend system has the wrong date set. Once you're on a theater page there is a date drop down box, currently set to Monday 24th resulting in "showtimes not available", if you change it to the correct date you get the movies. You might check your zip on movietickets.com, maybe all your theaters are showing the same.

good luck,
tsw

Seems to have fixed itself. Probably correct about the date.

Is there a way to have the InTheaters script run on a scheduled basis? I would like to run it automatically about once a week. Is this possible?

thanks

You could set up a scheduled event using the xevent plugin, then trigger its start when starting xlobby

xEvent works great. I use it to change the text on the weather forcast from day to night and back at a specific time so I can see the forecast properly. It should work to fire the intheaters refresh as well. (note to self, set this up tonight)

Ah man, let me know when you have this one set up sharp....this is a real good one...well worth keeping around.

I'm going to be busy the next few days updating my plugin doc...me thinks.

Hey Marbles_00: I think the help site is about as good as it can be right now. I am trying to host everything on my googlepages which is at 82% but I have a solution for that if I run out. I'll let you know if I ever need more storage. If you would like me to add anything else let me know...that goes for everyone.

I've updated the links in the 1st post - comcast & time warner did a market swap so my ISP changed. I've been working on the plugin version of InTheaters lately (incremental updates, theater enable/disable and ordering, + some other improvements). Still not sure what I'm going to do long term with Xlobby based on the recent Calrad direction/announcements....but for now at least I will still be running the free version of XL and supporting my tools.

good luck,
tsw
