Can this be done with search and screen?

Hi all,

1 - Is it possible to have screen or within the search in any screens to list only what been add it to that screen database/s? Like I add 3 movies to the dvd collection, that already have like 500+ titles, and that screen or within the search list these added one, like within 10 days as example.

2 - Can some movies be played with password access, similer to screen password?

Item 2) Within the database screen you can setup a custom play event for a particular item within the database. You could probably use this to go to another screen which is password protected before playing the movie. I don't use passwords myself but I am sure this would be possible.

Item 1) are you importing your data from DVD profiler? if so you may be able to use this http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3766&start=15&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=dvdprofiler which imports the field 'Purchase Date' I think. You could then sort on purchase date (in reverse order) to show you the most recently purchased items in your collection. The default xlobby import may do purchase date import - I don't know.

Has anyone figured out an event or is there an event to refresh the data base w/o having to go into the F2 function and refresh the database. I add a CD or DVD to my collection about 4~5 times per month...and would like to have be able to tell the data base to refresh...

There is a Refresh catagory command that you can assign to a button in your skin. I think that the skinning tutorial covers creating buttons and assigning commands to them. If not post a new topic in support and I will try to help out more.
