Adding Xnet to events

A while ago I had asked if a client could change the screen on a server, without using mimic. Using trigger commands were discussed but that didn't work out for me.
Recently, I have added a CM11a X10 device to my media server PC. Unfortunately, I could not get it to work. I do, however, have a different CM11a X10 device working perfectly on my HTPC. Without going into the complexity of my setup, let's just say that I would like to get PC A (media server), to be able to use the eventgroups from PC B (HTPC). This way, I don't have to add an X10 device to my media server or other PC's, they could all use the same one.
I imagine that using Xnet, which already allows sharing between different PC's would be the best/easiest way to do this. This would also open up other skining possibilities such as clients changing a server's screen.
Steven, is this feasible?
