Importing from iTunes database ( coverart, filename etc. ) ?

is there a way to convert the iTunes database to an xlobby database
or get xlobby to import the iTunes database ???


I need iTunes for my iPod so in the iTunes folder all of my mp3 are
stored. iTunes also has all coverarts etc. in his database, so something
like the dvd-profiler to xlobby converter would be great ...

Does somebody know if there is a tool like that, or is there another
way to do this ?

as far as I know there isn't... i posted a request a while ago for itunes database support.. what would be best is if every time xlobby started that it automatically refreshed the music db based off of what's in itunes. Cover art, etc, but also things like last played, times played, rating... that would be awesome. Or have it work both ways, so it updates the last played and etc fields when played in xlobby.

Just looking at the way itunes stores that info in a single xml file, it doesn't seem like it would be too major to implement, but I'm no programmer, so I won't say much

I think this is one of those wishes, which should rather be impklemented in plug-in than in core.
