I've tried xlobby with pictures, and the views are really simplistic -- paging over screenfuls. Is that it? I'd love grouping CDs by theme; tagging; whatever! What browsing mechanisms are there for choosing a DVD? And what about PPC client?

You can browse music/videos/pictures/whatever by anything you want as long as they have useful tags in them, which for music especially shouldn't be a problem at all.

Same goes for the ppc client.. you can group things however you want. Just a matter of skinning it right.
