giving focus to the database

Postby AgentJBOND on Sun Jun 11, 2006 3:18 am

I am using an infared keyboard to teach my learning remote different keyboard commands so that I can control xLobby.
I am using the ReDeux II skin.

Whenever I go to my movies screen, I can use the remote's direction pad (which is essentially the arrow keys of the keyboard) to scroll through the different buttons (next page, previous page, home, etc.). However, I cannot get the cursor over to the movies themselves to select a movie - all I can get to with the arrow keys are the buttons on the side.
How can I select a movie using the remote/the keyboard?

I am not a complete n00b - been using the program for a month before finally throwing in the towel and asking a question here. Still, I hope the answer is something simple I'm just missing.

Thanks in advance.

go to screen editor (Pause/Break key) and set the movies category as a "nav item" if it's not.
If that's not the problem, I can't think of another solution.

that wasn't the problem (it was already set as a nav item), but it got me on the right road

the database item did not have an ID, so i gave it an ID... that let me get over to the movies, then I had to change scroll from 'snake' to 'none' so that I could get back over to the buttons when i wanted to

hooray!
