Thanks, Rick, I'm glad you like it.
As for the email request, you will need to set this up for yourself as everyone uses different email clients, i.e; Eudora, Netscape, Hotmail, Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.
First you will need to create an 'event' to launch your email client.
1 Press 'F2' to bring up the bring up the SetUp Menu
2 Click the 'Event manager' tab
3 On the left, bottom side of the screen, click the "ADD GROUP' button. You will see a folder called 'new group' appear at the bottom of the events list.
4 Click on the new folder once to set focus <pause> then once again to edit the name.
5 Name it 'mail'
6 Click the 'ADD EVENT' button.
7 A 'new event' icon will appear under the 'mail' folder
8 Rename 'ADD EVENT' to 'launch app'
9 Now go to the right side of the screen to the 'Commands' tab. Scroll through it and find the 'OS' icon (an MS Windows flag)
10 Click the plus sign next to the OS icon to expand it
11 When it expands you will see the commands associated with the OS. Click the one titled 'EXECUTE FILE'
12 You need to fill in the 'FILE' and the 'WORKING DIRECTORY' parameters.
13 Once you are done, click the 'TEST' button. If you filled in the information correctly you should see your email app pop up.
14 Once you have verified that the command works - Click on the 'launch app icon to make sure it is selected then click the 'ADD' button. You will see the 'execute file' command appear under it.
OK, the hard part is done.
Next re-labeling the PVR button (it doesn't do anything right now) to EMAIL and attaching your event to it.
1 Press 'Pause/Break' to bring up the Skin Editor. Drag it to one side of the screen so you can still see the 'PVR' button.
2 Click on the PVR button to select it. You will see a dotted line box appear around it
3 In the skin editor click the 'BUTTON' tab.
4 Next click the 'DISPLAY tab'
5 In the box labeled 'Text' replace 'PVR' with 'EMAIL'
6 Click the 'EVENT' tab
7 Click the 'Assign' button
8 A 'SELECT EVENT' window will appear.
9 Find the 'mail entry you created.
10 Expand it.
11 Highlight the 'launch app' entry
12 Click the 'SELECT' button
13 Close the 'Skin Editor'
Your done!
Enjoy!
