Rhapsody

Xlobby plugin development

Rhapsody

Postby alitchy on Sun Feb 04, 2007 2:14 pm

I'm not much of a programmer, but I'd really love to have access to all the music on Rhapsody, using my xlobby gui.

Apparently this guy actually developed a SDK to communicate with the Rhapsody web services. http://www.openrhap.net/blog/

He can pull down the search functionality and access to the raw Rhapsody music catalog.

So imagine having access to all that music, and the xlobby GUI? Sounds wonderful doesn't it? Anyone with programming ability want to take it on?

Yes, because these forums are just overflowing with new posts and content  Would not want to create a bunch of noise...

Seriously, I've been lurking and reading here for a couple years. Sorry if I offended you, but I posted in the plugins forum, hoping that a user who can program, might consider the item. And in the feature request to perhaps catch the attention of xlobby's creator.

If my actions offend you, and your a moderator, feel free to delete one of them. But I get a kick out of people who post to inform people not to double post, etc. It's like those spam filters that send you an e-mail telling you have a spam e-mail. What's the point? Isn't your post, just as traffic causing and wasteful as my double post?

And the nature of this forum, unlike a newsgroup post, is such that double posting isn't as likely to bring spammers down on us from above :)
