Postby Grooby on Mon Jun 28, 2004 10:38 pm

Ok, i have used wParam and iParam ok with Girder and Xlobby to open movies with my IRMan from my menu page.
Thats one command and eventstring in Girder and set up in event manager in Xlobby.
HOW HOW HOW do i set up girder/xlobby to scroll down my menu page -
i only use:
MOVIES
EXIT
SHUTDOWN

As i said 'Ok' on my remote launches MOVIES....

What i want is:
menu loads
be able to scroll up and down from my default button (movies) and click 'ok' on the option i want...

Thanks
8hrs trying this!!!!!!

Cheers
Andy

This is the way I did it. Make a new command in girder let say UP, make it a keyboard command you can pick from a few choices, for this one lets choose UP(keyboard tab on bottom-middle, then add an eventstring to the command and make it learn your ir code from your remote buttom that you want it to be up, make sure you put an antirepeat time of 200ms and then do this for the rest including the enter key and it should work. I can email you a copy of my GML file and you can use that as an example. Just post an email address where you want me to send it to.[/img]

How would i have multiple girder events for the same buttons?

Movies:
Goto
Down to next button

Exit:
Goto
Down to next button
Up to next button

Shutdown:
Goto
Up to next button

I saw the link, i may me a bit slow but i could not get it to work, i tried to follow instructions but the plugin would never show up in girder?!

You must send a girder event from xlobby each time you use a "goto screen"
Then when you catch it in girder, you enable/disable the commands accordingly.

For the plugin, did you see it in the settings/plugin menu ?
Is the checkbox checked? (it must, and you must click "enable"

When you click "option", you may have to use alt-tab (task switch) to show it.
