After selling all my "old" hardware and talking and talking and talking with the wife, my newest HTPC is up and running (except tv tuner - needed sleep :P). Here's the specs:

2.4c @ 3.0 on Gigabyte GA-8IG1000MK
512MB Geil 2-3-2-6 memory
60GB Western Digital hard drive
16x Lite-On DVD
Radeon 9600pro AIW (MMC 9.0 blows, won't load tv :evil: - going back to 8.8 )
Running output to my old Pro Logic reciever (soon to be replaced with Pro Media/EnvyHT combo) via onboard sound.
Logitech Bluetooth MX mouse and keyboard
All resting in an Aopen H400 black case with 2x60mm Silenx and Arctic Cooling quiet heatsink

Total investment is around $800...which is NICE! That is before I go blow the next wad on speakers and soundcard.

Will be finishing the setup of software tonite and then begin playing with XLobby. Got tomorrow off to play all day long. :)
