Living Room: touchscreen for music running an XL server
Home Theater: TV connected to another XL server
Main Bedroom: TV connected to yet another XL server
PPC: I only have one IPaq to control the whole thing
I want to be able to keep everything independent, so some music can be playing in the living room and two different movies in the HT and bedroom. I can do this with the current setup of three servers but then I have to have three separate clients installed in the PPC to control it all. I've assigned each client to a hard button so that seems to work fine. But it's not really a very elegant solution. Besides, I have to maintain three separate sets of databases. So I have 2 questions:
1. Is there a way to control everything with one ppc without the multiple clients?
2. If instead of having three servers, I decide to have only one server and two clients, can I still control the separate video streams? I know it works for audio, but I'm not shure how the video would work.
