How to pass playlist to BSPlayer?

Postby severus on Sun Jul 18, 2004 11:29 pm

How do I pass playlist to BSPlayer instead of zoom player.
If I change zoomplayer to bsplayer in "file types", after trying to play a movie, bsplayer starts but it won't load movie (Its just like you normally open bsplayer from icon.). I think playlist isn't passed correctly. %playlist% is added to the "command line switches".

BTW, what does that %playlist% _actually_ pass?

I'm not sure about bsplayer since I don't use it, but if you want to see what the varibles are passing along to zoomplayer, just check the commandline.txt that gets created when xlobby launches zoomplayer. You'll find that file in the root of your xlobby folder...

Thanks for the tip, but I ran into another problem, commandline.txt and playlist.m3u (which was in the commandline.txt) only generate using Zoomplayer. They won't change if I try with BSPlayer, and they won't generate if I delete them and try with BSPlayerd.

Looks like when I rename bsplayer.exe to zplayer.exe, it generates the files above and bsplayer plays the playlist but xlobby crashes (freezes) at the same moment, freeze continues when I exit bsplayer.

Looks like %playlist% works only with zoomplayer (zplayer.exe) at the moment. Is it possible to fix this?

Looks like that might be something you should post in the Bugs section.
