delete a movie and the database item?

Hi
Before I had a button that deleted a movie(physically) and when I refreshed the database the item dissapeared. Now after Steven changed something, the item does not go away, it becomes offline instead. SO, the question is. How the hell do I delete a item in the database without opening up the GUI(F2).

I take it from the silence that everybody has this problem? OR is it the opposite?
