AirPost's Skin - A Noob Approach

Postby AirPost on Fri Apr 02, 2004 5:11 am

I'm like a kid set loose in a candy store. Ever since I got a hold of this software I've been amazed on how much it could do compared to other frontend softwares - especially on the skinning part. So, here's my first attempt on my custom skin. Since there are a ton of things you can do to customize your skin, I'm already torn between two of my first skins. Any advise would be appreciated. This is just the main screen - the rest like the overlay for the button presses will take me some time. Not shown is the animation effect of the buttons (by using motion blur in PS).

If the design looks familiar, it's from a proposed skin from another frontend but modified (thanks xlr8shun for the psd files)

Contact list, that's a nice feature to have on your HTPC. How does it look?

The contact list is just a straightforward xml based file which lists names and phone numbers. Will post the picture once I have it setup.
