Is there a way to show how many times a song or movie has been played in XLobby?

Short answer - No.

Long answer - Yes, it could be achieved by using the XscriptNG plugin to increment a counter for each item everytime a song/movie is queued or played (played would be more difficult and would probably need a custom plugin to monitor the currently playing track)
I am not aware of anyone having done this yet but it could certainly be achieved.
There may be a way of obtaining this data from winamp as well (maybe using a plugin?)

There's no direct way afaik.

I do have a similar funtionality which makes a "recently played" folder for movies, but it works because I have the movie file types associated with a perl script instead of a media player. The perl script records the play time, plays trailers, and plays the movie.
