Web page snippet as overlay?

I have a Web-based automation server and IP cams at my vacation home. I need to minimize XL to use the control, then switch back to see the result of operating the garage door, switching lights, etc. In this picture, I've added in the control interface as a graphic (red arrow). Is there any way to actually apply the interface as an overlay? It's password protected - don't know if that complicates things more.
