select an item in a category

seeing as people are activly developing xlobby could someone wire in a select item function for categories.

its got to be a few lines of code on your side and has so many uses (select the playing track. jump to a given cd or movie) its something i have used since day 1... its also something i end up sticking in plugins all the time...

i know it can be done via a plugin but its clunky (you have to do item next/perv until you find what you want or end up back at the start) this can take a long time and you have issues with the screen refreshing while you are searching.

so i propose a function that takes a category name/field name/field value and will select the next entry (relative to the current item) whose field is the requested value.

ie: category : select item : category name : tag_name : tag_value

2 new commands have now been added for the next build.

category->search forward
category->search reverse

these commands take 3 inputs

Category Name (Optional)
Tag Name(s)
Tag Value(s)

For example, tag name could be "artist" and tag value could be
"u2"....when executed it would search from the currently selected item
either forward or in reverse searching for a match to the artist=u2
