BLACK SCREEN WHEN STARTING - PLEASE HELP - .NET INSTALLED!!

I just donwloaded the latest version of xlobby (Xlobby 2.0 Alpha). When I start it i just get the black screen and i can not do anything else. I tried hitting F2 but nothing. I then downloaded the xlobbymain application. I tried starting that and it doesnt work either. Im really not sure of the problem here. When i unzipped the file, i did it on my desktop into a folder called xlobby.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It appears you have an incomplete install.

Use the following files installed in the following order:

1] xlobby2pre14.zip - from the Xlobby download page

2] xlobby2main.zip - from the Xlobby download page

3] xlobby2.exe - from the Xlobby download page

Unzip each file into your Xlobby directory. If prompted to overwrite click yes.

A lot of the time when people get black screens it's because the skin was not unzipped correctly. There was another thread that I explained how to unzip them correctly so I'll just copy what I wrote from there....

Yeah a lot of people have the problem because they unzip the skins so the folder structure is like this:

True Jowaldo, But I think Bing is right on this one. If the skin doesnt work, f2 will still work. However if you download the exe only and execute it you will just get a black screen. You must have an incomplete install or an exe that isnt in the same folder as the install. When you get it working let us know what you did exactly so others can benefit from the confusion about the install.

Yep that did it. I did not realize I had to install all three in that order. Thank much for the help.
