Web Server?

Postby johnoc on Fri Mar 31, 2006 12:34 am

I'm only 2 days into trying out xlobby and man, I've found my next hobby... Awsome work Steven! (and I will definately will be a $ member!)

I'm using the latest build (posted under announcements) as well as BaddaBings Burlwood skin (again awsome job!), but I wanted to play around with the webserver capibilities and I can't seem to find the correct settings... Under Xnet, I only see "start server" and have actually logged a thin client on to it, but where's the webserver?? The port for "Server" is 8000 and I've tried that, but no go from a web perspective... Is that the webserver port or am I missing something??

randomly saw your post before heading to bed, there is a "start web server" button under xnet...bottom left hand corner its 2 buttons below the "start server" button. hope that helps

if your using a password remember to leave the username when the webbrowser prompts you, you only need a password to login.

you need to assign this port to your xlobby pc in your router settings. then you can access it using Web or IP address:[port number]

Wrong / Older Version

I figured it out... I must have downloaded an older version, the one I had installed definately did not have the Web Server Start button on, but when I downloaded the latest, it's there and it works great... Awsome addition.
