XLTV Plugin wont show new xmltv.xml file

Postby homepc on Thu Apr 26, 2007 2:47 pm

I just downloaded a new xmltv.xml file from zap2it. I am trying to use the XLTV plugin to configure the new file for EPG. On the channels tab, shouldn't I see the new xmltv.xml file listing? It's currently blank, and whan I hit reload, nothing happens and it stays blank. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

thanks
ray

badubo, I have another question.....is there any way to get my favorites to sort by name instaed of number? I went into databases and changed the sort, and all looked great, but when I went out of XL, and came back in, the sort was by num again.

is this viewed through a regular page on your skin? (I don't use any epg or xltv). If so, you can make an event to set the sort order and attach it as an page entry event, like I've done with my music details page. I believe the command, and it would be under category, is set sort and you type inthe sort order just like you do on the database editor and you specify which category.

the favorites databases are created each time xlobby starts.
They are sorting by number because it is the usual way to sort favorites.
So, you have 2 possibilities :

- use a sort event at the startup of xlobby for these databases
- create the favorite (in fact reorder it) sorted by the name (and numbers will match alphabetical order)
