group elements in skin editor

The main goal right now is to make xlobby very stable and improve its skin editing abilities and the plugin support.

i think it would be a great improvment if it was possible to group items, like if you have play pause stop ff fb buttons and want to move them around as one. something like the "layer set" in photoshop

well that's something i miss...

you an hold the shift button down and drag a box around all the buttons you want to move.

It'd still be good to have groups, so that the objects appear as one. Sometimes objects overlap and it's impossible to select them without selecting others (with shift). With grouping, you'd be sure that they'd be always treated as one. But not crucial anyway...

my feature request stands, some sort of grouping would be nice.

where u could move the entire group with x,y values.
and duplicate groups, that would cut down the time it takes to make a skin..

I second the 'group' method... make things very nice when you are using keypads and controls that always stay together.

I think shift highlight from the list would work better than shift select from the skin itself. Or at least a cntrl clik to unselect some of individual items. I remember requesting this in February. I guess it still stands. Bump.

As an improvement to the grouping that already exists, I'd like it if you could move the group around with the arrow keys as well as the mouse. This would allow the same fine control that's available with a single object selected.
