Has anyone else had any experience with REACTOS ?
I was hoping to cut and paste a brief blurb about the OS here but unfortunately their webserver has suffered a hardware failure and is currently offline.

I have previously played with alpha versions of this OS and was extremely surprised by its' compatibility with windows xp and its' ability to utilize 32bit drivers that are intended for WinXP & WinNT.
I am not sure of the software licence for REACTOS, it is either opensource or freeware !!!
It occurred to me that Xlobby running on Reactos would be an extremely cost effective (read free) solution for the budget home user.
If anyone is interested then I will install a previous (alpha) version of ReactOS and Xlobby on an old PC and will report back on my results.
PS It is a pity that the Reactos site is down because if memory serves me correctly the OS was due to go Beta before christmas.
