handheld remote control not via PPC

Hi All,
I've just downloaded xlobby to have a play as I am mostly interested in the PPC remote control. But, I'm not actually using a PPC but a SE P800 via bluetooth. I was hoping that the xlobby client server thingy would just consist of a web server type access and remote control but reading the help files tells me that I have to have a .NET framework installed on the PPC. If I am understanding this correctly this means I can only use a PPC to do any remote control and it is not possible to control via a non PPC device like my P800 using it's built in web browser.
Am I understanding this correctly and if so is it not possible to have a web server plugin that will work with any client with a standard web browser?

that's correct, xlobby cannot be controlled via a browser as far as I know, but you might want to post that in the feature request section
