i was trying out cyberlink powerdvd deluxe v8
has anyone tried this with xlobby, creating a graph for this version.
version 8 issue (outside of xlobby) playing the cyberlink player directly:
I don't know if it's an issue or it's me, but i can get all media to play on my secondary plasma display
except video_t's. If i play an avi, no problem, straight to the plasma, but if i play a movie, nothing displays on the plasma.
the primary display (touchscreen) works fine, i see the movie, but nothing is pushed to the secondary.
Has anyone else tried powerdvd 8 with any luck? i've been talking on the cyberlink forums and it looks like they are moving away
from HD, and people have been setting their secondary displays as primary-watching the movie-then changing display back.
this is unacceptable behavior for version 8.
version 7 runs great, no issues.
i have no problem running 7 but i would rather have 8 cause it handles aspect ratio better, and it will play both PAL and NTSC with the correct formatting.
any thoughts on version 8?
