Help each other out

playlist problem

Postby lar282 on Fri Dec 10, 2004 8:08 pm

Hi
I usually create playlists in winamp and then put them in the playlist folder. When I tried that yesterday and clicked on the playlist in xlobby, winamp started instead of xlobby loading it!!!
tried again with different albums and then it works.

question is has any seen this happen or have tips what I should look for in solving this..

You are not alone - had the same problem.
Although I do not have a problem on my own computer, when I installed XLobby on a friends I found I could only save one playlist. I resorted to trying to save a playlist in winamp.
As with you it opened another copy of winamp to play the playlist.

My question would be why can I only save one playlist - this has been mentioned before, but I cannot find a solution.

1 - M3u's work better than pls's
2 - U have to restart xlobby for new ones to show up
3 - The music has to be in your xlobby database to show up. IE A playlist of a new album on your hard drive but not yet in xlobby's database will not work.

Later
Simon.
