Question for PPC users

When you use a PPC for Xlobby can it display web cams that some skin authors have built into their skins? I'd like to be able to view my security cameras from a PPC within Xlobby.

Should be able to, since the webcams aren't realtime (they refresh every so many seconds instead they don't stream...i think) then you should be able to make you ppc refresh in sync, or have a refresh button on your ppc when you want the updated image.

Do you know for sure that XL on a PPC can't stream a web cam?

for sure, nope

xlobby is so flexible you can do almost anything, i was gonna add webcams to my skin this weekend so if you know of a good continuous streaming webcam i can see if it works in regualr xlobby and if it does it may work on the ppc

the only webcams I could find were the house ones, and they were all on 1 second refreshes, i think something like that can be done with xlobby for sure

if the webcam is actually an internet explorer window and not an http image then you wont see it on the ppc. You can use http images for the ppc but not internet explorer windows.
