Having "Files" go to somewhere other than Desktop?

Can I make the File browser go somewhere other than the desktop by default?

Because every time I use the file browser, I want it to start in a specific location so I don't have to wait for it to search the DVD-ROM drive for a disc whenever it goes to My Computer.

In the skin editor
Screen => Add

then in "folder Browser" select "Virtual" then "MyComputer".

then use "Browse" to select your repertory .

For cd/dvd player you can use also, the function insert of xlobby.
You can execute an event when you insert a support cd or dvd. You have to associate extensions files to an event then when you insert a support it will execute a specific event, it depends which files are on your support.
To config that go to the set up ( F2) then section “misc” ( in not sure that is in the section misc, I don’t have xlobby on this computeur right now…)
Me, I use also xant plugin….

Many thanks. I didn't know I could just easily rename "My Computer" to "D:\TV SERV"
