by foolio on Wed Sep 13, 2006 6:15 pm Was wondering if anyone has been able to run XLOBBY consistently 24/7 ? I have just do XLOBBY on the server computer serving 3 winamp zones, all is fine. I control xLOBBY via thin clients and web browser - all is dandy.
The problem arises when I add in a couple of thick clients zone. When the thick client loses connection (crashes, suspend mode, etc) - it pulls the entire server down. Any tips for successfully doing multizone spanned over multiple thick clients without the stability issues with connecting/disconnecting clients? Also - if the server crashes and reboots, the thick client doesn't automatically re-connect as it should.
