Using Wii or Xbox360 as an Xlobby media centre

The Wii and XboX360 can both access the internet and I was wondering if I could use them as a media player.

I know you can create a webpage which contains the Xlobby interface (which the wii and 360 could access), but is there any way of having the audio play through the wii/360 (which in turn are connected to my Amp and speakers) rather than just on the source system? I.e. stream the audio via the website. This would only be on a local home network and not across the WWW (although in principle I assume this would also be possible given enough bandwidth)

If this would work I could use the wireless controllers and wii/360 as a media centre

Any ideas how to achieve this?
